The following pictures were taken while walking on and around my gorge property. We own 30 acres boredering the Big Chautauqua Creek in Westfield, NY. The gorge has a tremendous history in westfield and was exhibited recently at the Patterson Library in Westfield. It was a focal point for development in Westfield's early days and was known to have several mills lining the banks to harness the water power. Today, it is mostly privately owned and is used for recreational purposes and for the village of Westfield's water supply.
